you or somebody you know experiences ongoing pain, you have seen and
felt the havoc and the limits imposed on one's enjoyment of life. Chronic
pain can drain an individual's physical, emotional, and spiritual energy
to the point of impacting the very meaning of life as they see it.
But there is hope. Chronic pain does not have to be crippling, and at PSMS we are dedicated to helping people restore vitality, joy, and meaning to their lives. At PSMS we offer a full range of psychotherapeutic services with special emphasis on relief from chronic pain and headache. We know that over 90 million Americans experience unremitting pain and we are here to help address this vast unmet need. Through non-medical, complementary means, we supplement medical treatment with methods that have been shown to be effective in pain relief. In cooperation and consultation with physicians, we help our clients determine the approach that will effectively help them regain a sense of well-being and control in their lives. |
